After a long, treacherous journey in the battleground of bachelorhood, both Kahyla and Forest finally decided it was time to up their 2023 dating game, so naturally, as one would, they pulled out the credit card to subscribe to the online dating platform commonly known as Match.

Through tons of catfishing, awkward conversations with odd specimens, not to mention the pictures of genitalia received from the local perverts, and although it wasn't 'Love After First Click,' they finally found solace in each other's company and conversations. In the early days, the two would stay up late, sharing stories of one another's childhood, their loved ones, pet peeves, passions, and the things that made each other tick. It wasn't long before the two knew they had a ton in common from their favorite colors, horoscopes, the car they drove, their love of dogs, and a lack of a special someone to share and do life with. After a few weeks, the two set an official first date, shared more conversation, and laughed over board games.

Shortly after, the two deleted their Match profiles as they were texting nonstop and no longer needed the dating app. Kahyla and Forest traveled to New England to celebrate their first anniversary, experience the fall foliage, and "fall" more in love. After returning home, Kahyla and her beloved Goldendoodle Teddy moved into Forest's house in Beaverton, where the two are reportedly "still moving in"!

Most recently, it was reported that on April 5th, 2025, Forest proposed to Kahyla at the Japanese Gardens with the help of his brother Patrick and sister-in-law Chloe, who helped surprise the now bride-to-be and captured the truly magical moment. The two cannot wait to "ring" in the New Year's with their loved ones, as this will truly be a New Year's of a lifetime for future Mr. Forest T. Kenyon and Mrs. Kahyla R. Kenyon!
